Parveen General Store

Parveen General Store is located at 1E/55 in Faridabad City. We are in the 121002 area, specifically near the Gita Mandir in Market No-1. It’s a good location because people coming from the temple often stop by to pick up things they need for their homes. The store isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of space, even hanging things from the ceiling hooks. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside. I’ve been running this place for a few years now. I try to keep the staples like pulses, spices, and cleaning supplies always in stock. The morning rush is usually the hardest part of the day. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls. We just want to serve the people living right here in the neighborhood. Sometimes I close the shop for an hour in the afternoon to have lunch at home since I live close by. If the door is shuttered, I’m usually back soon. It’s a simple way to earn a living. We don't have any fancy displays or expensive lighting. The items are just there on the shelves for you to see.
