Paras Sales Agencies is tucked away in Mehrauli, right near the Lal Masjid at T-140/8, close to Andheri More. It is a very old part of the city, so the lanes are quite narrow and always full of people moving around. Our shop is mostly a place where we manage orders and keep some stock ready for distribution. It is not the kind of place where you come for a fancy shopping experience. It is a working office and warehouse combined into one small space. There are stacks of boxes almost reaching the ceiling most weeks. We have to be careful when moving things around so nothing tips over. My nephew helps me with the accounts, and we have a couple of guys who handle the loading and unloading. The heat in the afternoon can be tough since we are in a bit of a tight spot, but we have a good ceiling fan that helps. We’ve been at this location for years, so everyone in the market knows where T-140/8 is. You might have to dodge a few scooters to get to our door. We deal with all sorts of goods, whatever the local shops are asking for. We don't spend much on decorations or signs. The old painted one above the door works just fine for us. It’s a busy, dusty, but honest way to earn a living in this part of town.
