Pal Estate

I’ve been sitting here at our spot near E-5 in Sector 52 for quite a while now. Ardee City has changed a lot since we first opened the doors, but the dust on the windows stays about the same no matter how much we wipe it. We aren't a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a small place where people come in to talk about houses and plots in the neighborhood. Usually, the morning starts with a cup of tea from the stall nearby and checking the old ledger we keep on the wooden desk. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit outside and chat with the neighbors. People know us as the Pal Estate guys. We don't have a big website or a team of people in suits. It is just us here every day from ten till seven. If you walk past the E-5 block, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun. Most of our day is spent answering the phone or showing someone a map of the local area. We know these streets well because we walk them ourselves. There is a lot of noise from the construction down the road lately, but it’s just part of life here. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just do our work and go home to our families in the evening.
