Ons Engineers

We’ve been at Plot 107 in the Bhakari industrial area for a good while now. It is usually pretty noisy with the machines running all day long. Ons Engineers is just a small group of us doing metal work and fixing whatever things people bring in. It’s definitely not a fancy place. The concrete floor gets very dusty and we have to sweep it out every morning before we start. We drink tea twice a day, usually around ten and then again at four, and we just focus on the drawings we have on the table. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we manage to keep things moving. If you walk past the main gate, you will see us working away. We handle a lot of different projects, mostly stuff that needs the heavy lathes or the milling machines. It is hard work but we are all used to it by now. The neighborhood is mostly other workshops just like ours. We do not really do any big ads or marketing. People around here just know where we are and what we do. Sometimes we have to stay quite late when a job is urgent or a customer is waiting. It gets very hot in the summer under the tin roof, but that is just part of being here in the industrial area. My brother helps out with the accounts when he has time. We have some old machines that still run perfectly.
