Ompremia Hospital

We are located right at the 56 KM stone on the Delhi-Mathura Road. Being on the NH-2 means we see a lot of different things. It’s a long stretch of road and we are one of the main places people stop when there’s trouble or just a need for a check-up. The sound of trucks passing by is something you just get used to after the first week of working here. It’s a bit out of the main city, so things feel a little different than a downtown clinic. We get people from the nearby villages and also travelers who are just passing through on their way to Agra or Delhi. The building is sturdy and does the job. We keep the lights on 24/7 because you never know when someone might pull in from the highway. The staff is mostly local people who live within a few kilometers. It’s a practical environment. We don't have much time for decoration or fancy waiting rooms. We just make sure the beds are clean and the medicine is stocked. Dealing with the heat on the highway is a bit of a challenge in the summer, but the air conditioning mostly holds up. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on the basics and try to be there for whoever needs us. It's a lot of responsibility being on such a major road. Most of the drivers know our sign by now.
