Numex

Out here at Plot No. 28 in Sector-24, things are pretty industrial. Numex is right in the middle of it all. If you come by, you’ll hear the sounds of machines and the occasional truck backing up. Our space isn't meant for showing off. It’s a functional building where we focus on getting the manufacturing right. The floors are concrete and there’s usually a bit of grease or dust around, which is just part of the job. We start early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and we keep going until the shift is done. There’s a small break area where we sit and eat our tiffins. It’s nothing special, just some benches and a water cooler. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and we know all the neighbors in the other plots. We help each other out if someone needs a tool or a bit of extra hands for a heavy lift. The work we do is repetitive but important. We don't have a marketing department or a PR person. We just have people who know how to handle the equipment and get the specs right. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over to make sure they aren't broken. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make things and send them out. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch if the machines are behaving.
