About Jai Maa Kali Furnishing House – Agriculture & Farming in Faridabad
We run Jai Maa Kali Furnishing House over at No. 1F-32-Bp. We are right opposite the Vaishno Devi Mandir in the Nit area. Being across from the temple means we see a lot of people passing by every day. The shop is filled with rolls of fabric, curtains, and all sorts of upholstery stuff. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the samples hanging around. We spend a lot of time measuring out cloth and helping people figure out how much material they need for their homes. It can get dusty with all the textiles, so we’re always shaking out the rugs. The light in the shop isn't great, but we have a few bright lamps over the cutting table so we don't make mistakes. Sometimes the temple bells get quite loud, but it’s a nice sound to work to. We aren't a big showroom with air conditioning; it’s more of a traditional shop where things are stacked high. Usually, there’s a helper or two around to lift the heavy rolls. We've been in this spot for years, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the orders to get around to it. It’s a steady business. We just try to get the stitching done on time and make sure the colors match what was asked for.
