Pervesh Rasayan

You can find us over at B-162 in the Nehru Ground area of NIT. This part of the city is always crowded, with all sorts of small businesses and shops packed tightly together. Pervesh Rasayan is a pretty modest setup, and we don't have a big fancy storefront or large glass windows to show off. It is more of a practical workspace where we handle our daily business. Most of our time is spent on the telephone or dealing with the local suppliers who drop by. Because the area is so busy, finding a place to park a scooter or a car is always a bit of a nightmare for us and our visitors. We have been in this location for a while now, so we have gotten to know most of the other shopkeepers on the block. We deal with chemicals, so we have to be quite careful about how everything is stacked and stored in our limited space. It is not exactly a glamorous job, and there is a lot of inventory that needs to be counted and tracked by hand. We use simple ledgers and try our best to stay on top of the orders as they come in. The ceiling fan in the office has a bit of a wobble to it, but we hardly notice it anymore. We aren't some big corporation with fancy offices. We are just local people doing our work and trying to be fair in our dealings.
