Our center is out in Ballabgarh, specifically the part that handles cement research and independent testing. It’s a bit of a serious place because of the kind of work we do with building materials. We have various machines for crushing samples and ovens for drying things out. The staff here mostly wears lab coats or work gear because it can get a bit dusty with all the powder around. We take a lot of pride in just doing the job right without any fuss. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except when a big testing machine is running. We get samples sent in from all over, and we just go through them one by one. It’s a lot of recording numbers and checking specifications on paper. We aren't here to sell anything; we are just here to check the quality and make sure everything is up to the mark. It’s practical work that helps make sure buildings stay standing.
