Our office is on the second floor of building 288 in Satya Niketan. We are right near the telephone exchange in Lakshmi Nagar, which is a very busy spot. You have to climb a narrow set of stairs to get up to us. It’s not a very large office, just a couple of rooms where we keep our files and meet with people. Lakshmi Nagar is always full of energy, especially with all the students and young people looking for places to stay. We spend a lot of time helping people find rooms or small flats that fit their budget. Our desks are usually piled high with keys and old registers. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually answers it. It’s a very informal environment. Sometimes we are here late into the evening because that’s when people finish work and want to see a property. We know almost all the landlords in these lanes by their first names. We don't use any complicated language or sales pitches. If a room is small or doesn't have much light, we tell you exactly how it is. We’ve been working from this same spot for years, and most of our business comes from students telling their friends about us. It’s just a simple, local property shop where we try to keep things honest and get the paperwork done correctly.
