Maharishi Gems Jewellery & Jyotish Kendra

Our shop is tucked away in Sector 22, specifically at number 741. It’s a small space but it’s packed with everything we need. People come in mostly to talkin about stones or get their charts looked at. We spend a lot of time looking through small magnifying glasses at different gems. It’s quiet work compared to the street outside. We’ve got rings and necklaces sitting in the cases, nothing too flashy, just what people usually ask for. Sometimes a person comes in feeling a bit lost and wants to know what the stars say. We sit down, have a talk, and see what the stones might do for them. It’s been this way for a long time. The jewelry part is more about fixing things or finding the right fit for someone's finger. We aren't trying to be some big mall store. We like being the local spot where you can just walk in and have a real conversation. The shelves are a bit dusty sometimes and the chairs have been here forever. We keep the books manually often. It’s a bit of a mix of a jewelry shop and a place for advice. Most people who come here are from around the neighborhood. We know their families and what they like. It’s just how we do things here in Sector 22, and we don't plan on moving anytime soon. We take things day by day, making sure everyone who leaves feels a bit better than when they came in.
