Our little office is located at 615 Ankhir Chowk in Sector 21A. It’s a spot where people know each other, and we like being part of that. Being an estate agency means we hear a lot of stories about why people are moving or what they’re looking for in a new home. Some people want a big kitchen, others just want to be near the main road. We spend most of our days driving around, looking at houses, and showing folks through doorways. The office is where we come back to sort out the documents and make sure the keys are all tagged correctly. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to hunt for a spare key that went missing in someone’s pocket. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially when two or three families show up at once. We don’t do any of that high-pressure sales stuff. If a house doesn’t fit, it doesn’t fit. We just point out the good and the bad, like the leaky tap in the back or the nice sunlight in the front room. It’s better to be honest so people know what they’re getting into. We’ve lived around here for years, so we know which streets get flooded when it rains and where the best local shops are. It’s just us helping people find a place to stay, really. We keep the lights on late most Tuesdays to finish up.
