You can find Jaypee Capital over at House Number 1129 in Sector 29, Faridabad. This is more of a residential-style setup, so it doesn’t feel like a cold office building. We work out of a space that feels like a home, which makes the long hours a bit more bearable. Sector 29 is a decent area in Haryana, and it’s usually easy enough to find a spot to park nearby. Inside, we have our computers set up and a lot of notebooks scattered around. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at screens, dealing with various capital and finance tasks. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy glass entrance or a receptionist sitting at a big desk. We usually just answer the door ourselves. There is a small kitchen area where we make coffee and occasionally heat up lunch. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which helps when we need to concentrate on numbers. Sometimes we take a walk around the block just to get some fresh air and clear our heads. The furniture is just basic stuff we bought when we started, and it’s held up well enough over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done, day in and day out, without making a big deal out of it.
