Impact Lab

Impact Lab is a small place located in Ward No-7 of Shrikrishan Pur. It’s not one of those huge, shiny facilities you see in the big cities. We are just a local lab doing our bit for the community here. The area is mostly residential, so we end up knowing most of the families who live around this neighborhood. We handle different kinds of basic tests and medical samples. The space inside is always kept clean, even if the building itself is getting quite old and needs a bit of paint. We have a few pieces of equipment that we maintain very carefully. Sometimes the results might take a day longer than expected because we want to be absolutely sure about what we're seeing. We don't have a fancy reception area with a TV or magazines. There are just a few simple chairs for people to sit while they wait for their turn. My assistant and I do almost all of the work ourselves. We take the names and details down by hand first and then type them into the computer when things quiet down. It’s a quiet life here in Ward No-7. We usually see people when they aren't feeling their best, so we try to be quiet and get things done quickly. We don’t do any big promotions or put up posters. Usually, the local doctor just tells people to come over to us. We’ve been here long enough that people in the ward trust our name.
