Harris Powertronics & Automation

Being over here at 90 C in Sector 31 means we are right in the middle of the Hsidc Industrial Estate. It is a loud place during the week with trucks coming in and out, but we like the energy of it. Harris Powertronics & Automation is basically a group of us who have been around machinery for most of our lives. We handle a lot of the technical stuff that keeps bigger systems running, though we mostly just look like a typical warehouse from the outside. The concrete floor is stained with oil and there’s always a faint hum of electronics in the background. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy signs. Most of our budget goes into the tools we use and making sure the workspace is functional for the long hours we put in. Sometimes we stay late when a project gets complicated, ordering tea from the stall down the road to keep us going. The estate has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. It’s not glamorous work, but it feels right to be making things and fixing things. We know our neighbors well, and we help each other out when someone needs a tool or an extra pair of hands. That’s just how it is here in Sector 31. We don’t talk about goals or big plans much; we just focus on the task on the table today and get it finished properly.
