Our shop is right near the bus stand in the Main Bazar of Palwal. It’s a very convenient spot because everyone passes by here at some point in the day. We have been here for quite a while now. The shop isn't fancy, just a regular place with shelves full of clothes. We sell a bit of everything for the family. Since we are so close to the bus stand, it gets very loud with the horns and the people shouting outside. We are used to it by now though. Inside, we have a couple of counters and some stools for customers. We try to keep the stock fresh, so we are always bringing in new bundles of shirts, pants, and suits. It’s a busy life. My brother and I usually run the place. We don't have any assistants. We do the cleaning, the selling, and the accounts ourselves. The floor is just simple stone and the shelves are made of wood. Nothing is polished or high-end. We just want to give people a good variety without making it complicated. On festival days, it gets so crowded you can barely move, but that’s just how the main bazaar is. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a good community. We open up early and stay until the last buses are heading out for the night.
