Our office for Gupta Property Consultant is over at 102 R New Colony. New Colony is a fairly quiet residential neighborhood, which makes it a nice place to work. We are at number 102 R, in a small building that’s been there for decades. Inside, the office is quite simple. We have a couple of desks, a few plastic chairs for guests, and shelves full of old files and registers. We do most of our work by hand, writing down details and keeping track of things in big books. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We spend a lot of the day just talking to the locals who stop by for advice or just to say hello. There’s a small window that lets in some light, but we mostly rely on the overhead tubes. We aren't a big firm with lots of employees; it’s just a small operation here in New Colony. Most of our morning is spent cleaning up the place and getting the files ready. In the afternoon, we usually have some tea and wait for the evening rush of people coming home from work. We’ve been at 102 R for a long time now and we know the area like the back of our hand. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a steady one. We close up once it gets dark.
