Our workplace is Office Number 24 on the 2nd floor of a building along Sohna Road. It is one of those busy areas where there is always construction going on and the traffic never seems to stop. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of distance from the street noise, but you can still hear the horns honking all day long. The office is quite basic with just a few desks, some computers, and a small area for guests to sit. We do not have any fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We focus on the new apartments and commercial buildings that are being built all over this part of the city. A lot of our day is spent making phone calls and trying to coordinate with people who are often running late because of the Sohna Road traffic. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused while we go through the paperwork. It is a small, hard-working team here. We do not have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually greets you. We have seen this road change from almost nothing to a major hub over the years we have been here. It is a lot of work keeping up with all the new projects, but we know the layout of these buildings very well by now. We just take things one day at a time.
