This is Davendra Realtech and we work out of Faridabad, over in the 121009 zip code area. It’s basically a family-run type of thing, rooted in the local neighborhood here in Haryana. Savita and Vipin Kapoor started it up and we’ve been handling property matters from this location for a while. It’s not a corporate glass building or anything like that. It’s more of a home-style office where we sit down and talk about land and houses. Things can get pretty busy on the weekends when people have time off to look at properties. We usually have the kettle going for tea or coffee. The desk is always covered in notes and scribbled phone numbers because we’re always taking calls. We know the streets around here pretty well since we live and work in the same area. Sometimes we have to go out and look at a site, so the office might be empty for an hour or two. We just leave a note or take the mobile with us. It’s a simple way of doing business but it works for us. We deal with all sorts of people, from young couples to older folks looking to sell. There is a lot of paperwork involved in real estate, so we spend a good chunk of the day just organizing files. The traffic on the main road can be noisy sometimes during the day.
