Dangi General Store & Cloth House

At Sarai Khawaja, you will find Dangi General Store & Cloth House right in the busy Main Market of Amarnagar. We decided to do two things at once, selling clothes and general grocery items, because that is what the local people asked for. It is a bit of a mix inside here. One side has rolls of cotton fabric and some ready-made shirts, and the other side has all the groceries. Faridabad 121003 is where we are based. It gets quite busy on the weekends when whole families come out to do their shopping. We don’t have much extra help, so it is usually just us running back and forth between the cloth and the food sections. The shop is a little cluttered, but we manage to keep things moving. People seem to like that they can buy a new shirt and some tea leaves at the exact same time. We have been here in this specific spot for a decent amount of time now. The floor is just plain concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works fine for a market shop. We try to keep our prices fair because we know almost everyone in the neighborhood. It is not a shopping mall, just a local business. Sometimes the cloth gets a bit of dust on it if we don't cover it up properly at night.
