You can find Budakoti Engineering Pvt. Ltd. at G-17 in the East India Chowk Industrial Area, over in the N.I.T. section. It’s a heavy-duty kind of place. There are a lot of other engineering shops and warehouses around us, so the air is usually full of the sound of grinding and metal hitting metal. Our workshop isn't pretty, but it’s got all the equipment we need to do our jobs. We mostly handle industrial engineering tasks, which means a lot of grease, heavy parts, and long hours on our feet. The floor is concrete and has seen better days, and the walls could probably use a coat of paint, but we’re more worried about the quality of the work we’re putting out. We don't have a fancy office for meetings; usually, we just talk over a clipboard on the shop floor. It’s a small team, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to be doing. Being in the N.I.T. area means we’re right in the middle of the action, which is good for getting supplies or finding a welder if we’re in a pinch. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they know someone we’ve worked for before. It’s honest, physical work that requires a lot of patience. We just keep the machines running and try to finish the projects as they come in. It’s just a regular workshop with some good tools and decent people.
