B.R. Hardware & Mill Store

I’ve been coming to 1529 in Sector-9 every morning for years now. B.R. Hardware & Mill Store is just what it says on the sign. It’s a place where you can find nuts, bolts, and the kind of mill parts that aren't so easy to track down elsewhere. The shop gets a bit dusty, and the shelves are crowded, but that's just how a real hardware store looks when you’re actually working in it. People from around the sector stop by when something at home breaks or when their workshop needs a specific part to keep a machine running. I usually start the day with a cup of tea while I look over the inventory. It isn't a fancy showroom with bright lights and matching uniforms. We just have what people need. Sometimes we chat about the weather or how the neighborhood has changed since we first opened up. It's quiet mostly, except when the trucks come by to drop off new stock. My hands are usually a bit dirty by noon from moving heavy boxes or searching for a tiny screw in the back bins. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just us here, making sure the shelves aren't empty and that the locals can find their tools without driving across town. It’s a simple life, running a mill store, but it keeps us busy enough for sure. Anyway, it is what it is.
