Avon Oil & Hardware Tools

Being right near the railway crossing here in Mujessar means we hear the trains go by all day long. It's a bit loud sometimes, but you get used to it after a while. At Avon Oil & Hardware Tools, things are pretty straightforward. We keep a lot of different oils and greases on the shelves because the guys working in the local shops and garages always need them. There’s a lot of hardware tools too, the kind that actually last when you’re using them every single day. My hands usually have a bit of grease on them by ten in the morning, which just goes with the territory. It’s a busy spot, and people often stop in because they're already passing through the crossing. We don't really do much in the way of fancy displays. Most of the time, the counters are covered in catalogs or parts that just came in. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure we have the right wrenches or the specific grade of oil someone is looking for. When the weather gets hot, we keep the fans going, and the shop is a bit of a hangout for people waiting for their parts. We've been in this Mujessar location for a while now, and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s not a complicated business, just keeping people supplied with what they need to get their work done. That's about it.
