Our place is located at House No 1063 in Block C, Sector 49, right in the Sainik Colony part of Faridabad. It is a bit of a mix of a residential area and small businesses around here. At Benarasee Taana Baana Private Limited, we focus on the weaving side of things, specifically what goes into making those traditional patterns. The name itself hints at the warp and weft, which is what our daily lives revolve around. It is not a massive corporate building or anything like that. We work out of this spot in Faridabad and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the yarn arrives late or the electricity goes out, which is pretty common around here, so we just adapt. We spend a lot of time looking at threads and making sure the weaving is coming along as it should. It is quiet some days and really noisy on others when everything is running at once. We don’t spend much time on fancy marketing because the work usually takes up all our energy. We are just a small team trying to do a decent job with the fabrics. People in the colony know us, and we have been at this address for a bit now. It is a lot of repetitive work, checking the looms and the designs, but that is how textile work goes. We just take it one day at a time in Sector 49.
