If you drive down the Main Mathura Road, you’ll find us at the 16/2 Mile Stone. We’ve been here at S & P Threads Pvt. Ltd. for a long time. It’s a convenient spot because the road is a major artery for transport. You can’t really miss the mile stone if you’re looking for it. We work with threads, obviously. Our building is a mix of storage and workspace. It’s often loud because of the machinery, but you get used to the hum after a while. We have a small group of workers who know the machines inside and out. It’s practical work. We aren't sitting in fancy chairs all day; we’re mostly on our feet making sure the thread is winding right and the colors are what they should be. The road outside is always busy with trucks and cars, which is good for getting our goods out. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we’re always cleaning. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. We just make the threads and sell them to the people who need them for their own factories or shops. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’ve seen the area around the Mathura Road change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day. We just focus on keeping the quality consistent enough so people come back next time.
