We are located at No. 58-B in the Industrial Area. Belmont Rubber is what we focus on here. When you get close to the building, you can usually smell the rubber, which is something we have all gotten used to over the years. The industrial area is a busy place with a lot of noise and movement. Our unit is just a functional space where we process various rubber products. We have some heavy machinery and a lot of raw material stacked up in the back. It is a basic setup designed for production, not for showing off to visitors. We spend most of our time monitoring the machines and checking the quality of the rubber as it comes out of the molds. Our workers have been with us for a long time, so they know the smells and sounds of a machine that is working right. We do not have a lot of fancy office space. Most of the room is taken up by the factory floor itself. We handle orders as they come in and try to keep a steady pace throughout the week. Sometimes the heat from the machines makes it a bit warm inside, but we keep the big doors open for a breeze. We are just a regular rubber company doing our work in the heart of the industrial zone. It is steady work and we are happy to be a part of the local industry here for so long.
