Balaji Estates

Starting Balaji Estates here on New Railway Road was mostly about finding a spot that people could actually find. We’re right near Jai Cinema, so most folks use that to find the office. It gets quite busy around here, especially when a new movie is out. I spend most of my day sitting at the desk, looking at papers and answering the phone when it rings. It’s not a big fancy place, just a room with some chairs where we can talk about property. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. Most people who come in are just locals looking for a bit of help with renting or selling something they have. We’ve been at this for some time now. It’s just how it is. We keep track of what’s available around this part of town and try to keep the records straight. There’s a lot of walking involved, going to see different spots nearby. My shoes wear out pretty fast. Usually, if I’m not in the office, I’m probably out meeting someone at a site or just grabbing a tea nearby. It’s a simple way to run things, really. No big flashy signs or anything like that. Just the name on the door and a few files on the shelf. That’s pretty much the whole story of what we do here day to day. We don't have many employees, just a few of us who know the streets.
