Bahuguna Store

Running Bahuguna Store here in Om Enclave Part 2 has been my main thing for quite a while. It is a decent spot in Faridabad and I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter watching the world go by. I usually start the day by dusting off the packets and making sure the bread is fresh for the breakfast rush. We have all the normal things like flour, oil, and those little household items that you always seem to run out of at the last minute. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the wind, so I am always cleaning something or other. I know most of the neighbors by their first names and we often end up chatting about the weather or the local news while I pack their bags. It isn't a huge supermarket or anything, just a small corner store where you can get what you need quickly. I keep a stack of old newspapers for wrapping things up, and the fridge is usually full of cold drinks and curd. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and I have to explain to the aunties why the particular brand of tea they like isn't on the shelf yet. It’s just how it goes when you run a small business by yourself. I like being here though, it keeps me busy and I feel like I'm part of the community. It is a simple life and that's okay with me.
