Azad Sinages

We are tucked away in J Block, right at Shop Number 1 on NH 1 NIT near Nathi Chowk. Azad Sinages has been here for a good while now. Most days, you’ll find us busy with some sign or the other, usually covered in some kind of dust from the workshop. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we get the work done. The traffic around Nathi Chowk can get pretty loud, especially in the afternoons, but we’re used to it by now. People from around the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to ask for directions or see what we’re making today. We started this because we knew how to handle the tools and the materials. There isn’t much to it besides that. Sometimes the electricity acts up, so we take a break and sit outside for a bit. We don't have a big team or a front desk person answering phones all day. If you call, it’s probably one of us picking up with messy hands. We use simple stuff, metal and paint mostly, to put together whatever the local businesses need. It's honest work, and it keeps us occupied from morning till the evening. We don’t really do big advertisements for ourselves; word of mouth in this part of town is how most people find their way to our door at J 35.
