Arya Steels

Arya Steels is located at Shop No.B-35-36 in Nehru Ground. If you know the New Industrial Town area, you know it gets pretty crowded during the day. We are right in the middle of all that activity. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into those two units. Sometimes the boxes are stacked up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at once. Most of the time, we are just sitting behind the counter or checking the ledger. You hear the noise from the street constantly, horns honking and people shouting to each other across the market. We have been here at Nehru Ground for some time. There are a lot of other shops around us selling all sorts of things, so there is always someone walking past. We open up in the morning and stay until the shutters go down in the evening. There is no air conditioning, just the ceiling fans spinning fast to keep the air moving. We mostly deal with people who live or work nearby. They come in looking for specific steel items. We show them what we have in the back or on the shelves. It is a straightforward way of doing things. No one wears a suit here. We wear what is comfortable for moving metal around all day. We just drink our tea and wait for the next person to come through the door.
