Articleship From Rao & Sridhar (Chartered Accountants)

We are located over in Sec 21C at Vasundhara, specifically in apartment 503A within the Faridabad CGHS building. This is where the training happens for those doing their articleship with Rao & Sridhar. It is a busy place most of the time. There are always stacks of files on the desks. We focus on getting the work done for our clients, mostly dealing with audits and general accounting tasks. Haryana can be hot in the summer, but we stay inside and keep at the ledgers. The team is just a group of people trying to learn the ropes of being chartered accountants. It isn't a huge corporate office with glass walls. It feels more like a home office since it is in a residential complex. We drink a lot of tea and talk about tax laws. Sometimes the days get long when deadlines are coming up. We don't have a fancy reception or anything. You just come in and we find a spot to talk. It's practical. We handle the usual stuff like balance sheets and checking receipts. If you live in Faridabad, you probably know how the traffic is near Sec 21C, but once you get inside the building, it's quite calm. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s about learning how the real world of finance operates. No big speeches, just everyday accounting work and studying for exams.
