Apurva Hospital

Our place is at 2n/74 in the NIT area. It is a specific spot that most people around here know once they have lived in NIT for a little bit. The building is simple and it does not stand out too much from the other structures on the street. We start the day early, checking on everyone who had to stay overnight. It can get a bit hectic when the shift changes and the new staff come in to take over the work. We have a routine that we follow every single day to keep things organized. The halls are usually a bit quieter in the afternoons, but things pick up again in the evening when visitors arrive. There is not any flashy advertising out front. We just have the name up there so people can find 2n/74 without getting lost. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to ask a quick question about someone they know. We spend a lot of time on our feet, going from one room to another. The medical equipment hums and the lights stay on all night long. It is a busy hospital life, but it is what we are used to doing. We do not spend much time worrying about how the lobby looks; we just focus on the people coming through the front doors. It feels like a very local operation, rooted right here in this part of NIT. We have seen the area change, but the hospital stays pretty much the same.
