Apollo Hospital

Found at No. 2352 in Sector-16, this Apollo Hospital location is pretty easy to find if you know the block. It’s a residential-feeling area, so things aren’t as loud as the main markets, but it still has its own rhythm. The morning starts with the sound of the gates opening and the staff settling in. We have a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the grass gets a bit brown in the summer. Inside, the rooms are spaced out along a long hallway that always smells slightly of lavender or disinfectant, depending on who did the cleaning. We have some old wooden chairs in the wait area that are surprisingly comfortable. The light in Sector-16 is bright in the mornings, filling the lobby until we pull the blinds down around noon. We don’t have any big neon signs or anything like that. It’s a quiet building where we focus on the charts and the people coming in for their appointments. Most of the staff has a favorite spot for lunch, usually a small dhaba around the corner. We don’t really do big meetings; we just talk over the desk when something needs doing. It’s a very practical way to run things. The walls are mostly bare except for a few necessary signs and a clock that’s five minutes fast. It’s a solid, reliable place in a good neighborhood, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do what we are here for.
