Anand Provison Store

Anand Provision Store is right on M G Road, which is always humming with traffic and people going about their business. Our shop is one of those places where you can find all the basic stuff you need for your house. We’ve got big sacks of rice and flour sitting on the floor, and the shelves are packed with tea, spices, sugar, and soaps. It’s a compact space, so everything is within arm's reach. I’ve been behind this counter for a long time, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the store stays pretty much the same. People pop in for a small packet of biscuits or their weekly groceries. It’s not like those big supermarkets where everything is wrapped in plastic; here, we often weigh things out for you. The front of the shop can get a bit dusty from the M G Road traffic, so I’m always sweeping the doorstep. We don't have a fancy cooling system, just the open door and a fan. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three or four people are all asking for different things at once, but we manage. I know which brand of tea most of my regulars like before they even ask. It’s just a simple life running a grocery store. We don't have any big missions or slogans. We just open up in the morning and sell what people need for their kitchens.
