Started out here at H.No.148 in Shiv Durga Vihar Colony quite some time ago. If you know Lakkarpur, you know it’s a busy spot. We spend most of our days dealing with agricultural products that need to go overseas. It’s a lot of coordination with farmers and logistics people. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when we are trying to get the shipments out on time. The office isn’t anything fancy. It’s just where we keep the records and talk to the drivers. We focus on getting the grains and other stuff sorted correctly. There’s usually a lot of noise from the street outside, and the tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. It’s a small team here. We mostly just know each other’s rhythms by now. We don’t have any big corporate meetings or anything like that. We just sit down, look at what needs to be moved today, and get to it. Some days are longer than others, especially when the harvest is coming in. People around the colony know us as the place with the trucks parked out front. We’ve stayed in this same building because it works for us. It’s close to where most of us live, so the commute isn't too bad. We just keep our heads down and keep the exports moving as best as we can. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening most weeks.
