You can find us over at A 2037 in Green Field Colony, right near the Mhpc Chowk. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time compared to the main roads. We do tailoring and have some ready-made pieces hanging up along the walls for people to see. The sewing machines are usually going all day long, making a steady humming sound that we don't even notice anymore. Sometimes the thread gets tangled or we run out of a specific color of buttons, so one of us has to run out to the market and grab more. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us working together in the back. We have a big wooden table in the middle where we cut the fabric and mark things out with white chalk. There’s usually a bit of fabric scrap on the floor by the end of the day, which we sweep up before heading home. We try to keep up with the orders, but sometimes things take a bit longer if the design is a bit tricky. People bring in their own cloth or pick from the rolls we have in the back. The lighting in the shop isn't the best, but we have a bright lamp over the main work area. It's a bit messy with all the pins, scissors, and measuring tapes lying around. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and most of the ladies from the colony know exactly where to find us.
