M.V.S Inter College

M.V.S Inter College is located on the road that goes towards Bhartna, right in the Bakewar area of Etawah. It is a bit of a rural setting, so we see a lot of students coming in from the nearby villages. Many of them walk or ride their cycles a long way just to get here. The college building is spread out with a large open area in the middle where the students gather. We have old-style wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. The walls have some cracks here and there, but the roof doesn't leak, which is the main thing. We follow the state board schedule and everything is done in a very traditional way. There isn't any fancy computer lab with a hundred screens, just some basic rooms and teachers who have lived in this area their whole lives. During the harvest season, the attendance drops a bit because the kids are helping their families in the fields. We understand how life works around here, so we don't make a big deal out of it. The teachers drink tea from the stall across the road during their breaks. It is a quiet place for the most part, except when the students are changing classes. We just keep the gates open and do our part for the community in Bakewar. It is a simple life and a simple school for the local people.
