Radha Kishan Marbonites

Our place, Radha Kishan Marbonites, is over in Indrapuri Colony. We’re situated on Railway Road, not too far from the Jama Masjid and that Hotel Taj on G T Road. It's an old part of the city, so the streets can be a bit narrow and crowded sometimes. We’ve got our stock set up so people can walk through and see what they like. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers who know how to handle the heavy slabs. We don’t really do much advertising; word of mouth mostly brings people here. Being near the railway road means there’s always something going on outside. We see a lot of different people coming through for their home projects. Sometimes it’s a big house, sometimes just a small repair job. We treat everyone the same. The shop has been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the colony grow. We just focus on keeping the inventory full so there’s enough choice. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually sit in the shade of the doorway and wait for the next person to pull up. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We know the local contractors and they know where to find us when they need materials for a floor.
