B.K. Tiles

B.K. Tiles is located on Railway Road in the Shanti Nagar area. We are very close to Hotel Indraprastha, which helps people find us when they are coming from other parts of town. Our shop is filled with stacks of tiles in all sorts of colors and sizes. It is a bit heavy and tiring work, moving these samples around all day long for people to look at. The floor of the shop is usually covered in a bit of grit from the boxes. We have been here on Railway Road for quite a while, and we’ve seen the street get busier and busier over the years. Some days we spend hours just talking to folks about their bathroom or kitchen floors. It’s a lot of physical labor, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to unload the crates from the truck. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights, just a regular shop where you can see the actual products. Sometimes the boxes are a bit dusty, but the tiles inside are fine. We try to keep a good variety so people have choices. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the big gate open to let the breeze in. It’s a simple business, really. We just show people what we have and help them load their vehicles once they pick something out.
