Vasu Heavydriving School

Vasu Heavydriving School is located at 216/2, Vellalapalayam Pirivu, right on the Erode Main Road. We are in the Kullampalayam area of Gobichettipalayam. If you know the 638476 area, you probably know where the big trucks usually park. That is mostly what we do here, teaching people how to handle the heavy vehicles. It is not like driving a car; these things are huge and take a lot of space. We have a good bit of land here for practice before anyone goes out on the main road. The Erode Main Road is always busy, so it is a good place for our students to see what real traffic looks like. It gets pretty greasy and dusty around the workshop area, but that comes with the job. Most of the guys here are local, just trying to get their licenses so they can start working. We spend a lot of time outside in the sun, checking the engines or showing someone how to reverse a trailer without hitting anything. It is hard work and the days are long. Gobichettipalayam is a quiet enough place until you get near the main roads where we are. We just have our small office and the training ground. It is straightforward stuff. No one here wears a suit; we are all in work clothes ready to get under a truck if we have to. That is just how the day goes for us.
