T A N Leather Company

We are located at 130, Thirunagar Colony. It is a quiet enough street most days of the week. We have been working with leather for a long time. T A N Leather Company is basically just us in this small building. We have the tools and the benches set up for the daily tasks. The smell of the hides is something you get used to after about a week. Some people hate it, but we don't mind it anymore. It just smells like a normal day of work to us. We do not have any big signs or bright lights outside to grab attention. People usually find us by word of mouth or if they live nearby in the colony and see us working. We aren't doing anything revolutionary or strange. We just take the materials we get and do what needs doing with them. Some days are slow and we just sit around and talk for a bit. Other days we are working late into the evening to finish things up. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. My desk is right next to the cutting table, so it gets a bit dusty. We clean up on Saturday afternoons before heading home for the weekend. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones we tried once. We decided to just stick with what we know. It is a simple life and we like it.
