Sri School Of Arts

Our art school is located at number 147 on Veerasami Street in the south part of Gobichettipalayam. It’s not a very big place, just a few rooms where we keep all the supplies and stools for the students. You’ll usually see some charcoal sketches or paintings drying on the tables if you walk in during the afternoon. We started this because we liked making things and wanted a place for others in town to do the same. It’s a bit cluttered with half-finished projects and old brushes, but that’s usually how art spaces look. We don’t have a fancy gallery or anything, just walls where we pin up whatever the students are working on at the moment. The street outside is usually quiet, which is nice when people are trying to focus on their drawing or shading. Most of the folks who come here are just locals looking to pick up a new hobby or kids whose parents want them to do something creative after their regular school hours. We teach things like sketching and painting using whatever materials we can get our hands on. It’s a very laid-back environment without any strict rules about how things have to look exactly. We just provide the space and some guidance, and everyone goes at their own pace. It’s a practical, local spot for anyone who wants to get their hands a bit dirty with some paint.
