Fanfare School Of Music

Fanfare School Of Music is based in the Kumaran Building, which is right on Teppakulam Road in Erode. If you are walking down that street, you might hear some piano scales or maybe a drum set going off in the afternoon. We have been in this building for some time, and it is a pretty simple setup. There are a few different rooms where teachers sit with students to go over their notes and chords. It isn’t a massive conservatory or anything like that, just a local place where people in Erode come to learn an instrument. We have various instruments tucked into the corners, and the walls are covered with some old music posters and schedules. Teppakulam Road can get quite noisy with the traffic outside, but once you get inside the Kumaran Building and start playing, you sort of forget about the buses and bikes. The teachers here are just folks who really know their music and want to show others how to play. Some students are really young and just starting out, while others have been coming here for years and are getting pretty good. It’s a bit of a cramped space sometimes when there are a lot of lessons happening at once, but we make it work. It’s just a practical, honest place to spend an hour or two with a guitar or a violin for anyone who wants to learn.
