Sree Rajaguru Turmeric

Our place is down at No 17 in the Rcr Building. We've been operating out of Veerappan Chatram for quite some time now, mostly just dealing with turmeric every day. It’s a busy spot but we keep to ourselves and get the work done. The shop is simple and we don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. When you walk into Veerappan Chatram, you can usually find us without too much trouble since everyone around here knows the Rcr Building. We spend most of our mornings unloading bags and checking everything that comes in. It gets a bit yellow around here because of all the powder, but that is just how it is when you work with this stuff. We mostly sell to the local folks and some regulars who have been coming to us for years. My brother and I manage the daily tasks, from weighing the bags to making sure the storage area stays dry. It is not an easy job and the hours can be long, especially when a big shipment arrives. We don't really bother with big signs or flashy lights. If you need turmeric, you just come to the door and ask. Sometimes the traffic on the street gets backed up, so it takes a minute to get things moved. We just keep our heads down and focus on the turmeric. It's a straightforward business and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our part in the community.
