Spices World

Over in Erod, specifically in the Palaya Palaym area, you can find Spices World. We are positioned very close to the bus stop, which is a bit of a blessing and a curse. It means there are always people around, but it also means it’s never really quiet. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long, and the smell of diesel sometimes mixes with the much better smell of the spices we have inside. We spend a lot of time weighing out bags and sealing them up for customers who are usually in a hurry to catch their next ride. The shop is filled with sacks and jars, and there isn't much room for anything else. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just us and the spices. We’ve been here in Palaya Palaym for quite some time, and the regulars know they can just pop in and get what they need without any fuss. We don't try to act like a big corporation. We are just a small shop where the floor is always a bit dusty from the dry goods and the air is thick with different scents. It’s a simple life, mostly spent chatting with the people waiting for their bus or checking the quality of the new stock that comes in. We just focus on keeping things moving and being a reliable spot on the corner for anyone passing through Erod.
