Down on Eswaran Kovil Street in Erode, you will find our shop at number 63. It is right in the heart of the city so it stays pretty crowded around here. We have stacks of monitors and old motherboards piling up in the corners because we never seem to throw anything away. You never know when a spare part might come in handy for an old machine someone brings in. The floor is mostly concrete and we have these tall stools that aren't the most comfortable for long shifts. Usually, there is a smell of solder in the air from fixing circuit boards in the back room. Erode gets very hot in the summer and our little fans just move the warm air around mostly. We handle a lot of students coming in with broken laptops and local businesses needing their printers fixed. Sometimes the repairs take longer than we thought because parts don't arrive on the bus like they were supposed to. We try to be honest about what we can actually fix and what is just junk now. It is a bit messy with cables running everywhere across the floor but we know where everything is. People in the neighborhood know us by name and often stop in just to say hello while they are going to the temple nearby. We just keep working through the list of repairs one by one.
