Site Engineer

We've been working around Perundurai for a while now. Most people know us from the spot near Kolathupalayam. It's just a regular office at 42, Kolathupalayam, but we are usually out on the field anyway. Site Engineer is what we do. Dealing with levels, checking the ground, and making sure the lines are straight is the daily routine here in Erode. It gets hot out there, especially around the R.S. area, but the work has to get done. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of maps and tools. My cousin helps out with the paperwork sometimes when it gets too much. Sometimes the rain messes up the schedule, but that's just how it goes with outdoor work in Tamilnadu. We try to keep things moving even when the equipment gets a bit dusty. If you pass by the R.S. area in Perundurai, you might see us. We've lived here all our lives, so we know the local soil and how the weather hits. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps the local projects going. Mostly we handle the technical stuff on the ground. People just call us when they need a site sorted out properly. We've got a few old trucks and some survey gear that's seen better days, but they still work fine for what we need. It's just us, working hard every day. We started small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage the quality of the measurements ourselves. Nothing fancy, just honest site work for the people around here.
