I-Tech Systems

Our office is located at 473 in the C.S.R. Building on Brough Road. I-Tech Systems isn't one of those massive tech firms you see on the news; we are a smaller operation. We spend most of our time fixing things, setting up hardware, or trying to figure out why a particular piece of software isn't behaving. The Brough Road area is usually busy, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of fans whirring and people typing. We have a lot of spare cables and old monitors tucked away in the corners because you never know when you might need a part for an emergency repair. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We take turns going out to get snacks or tea from the vendors nearby to keep us going. Sometimes a client will bring their computer in and we’ll spend an hour just diagnosing what went wrong while they wait. We don't use much fancy jargon, we just try to get things working again so people can go back to their jobs without a headache. The C.S.R. Building is an older structure, so it has its quirks, but it’s a good spot for us. Most of us have worked here for years and we’ve seen the technology change quite a bit since we first started out at this address. It keeps us on our toes.
