Hotel Bhimaas

Hotel Bhimaas is sitting at number 5, Chinna Devanga Puram in Palayam. If you’re traveling through this part of Tamil Nadu, you’ll see our sign near the road. The building has a plain look from the outside, but it’s solid. We’ve got a small team here that keeps the place running day and night. The floors are tiled and we spend a lot of time mopping them because of the red dirt that people track in from outside. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of shops nearby, so there is always something going on. We don't have those big fancy elevators; it's mostly about the stairs and the people you meet in the hallway. Our rooms are basic, with just what you need like a bed and a working light. Sometimes the plumbing is a bit loud when the water is running, but it works fine. We see a lot of families and people traveling for temple visits. In the mornings, you can smell the food cooking from the nearby stalls, which is better than any alarm clock. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just have a front desk where someone is usually sitting, maybe reading a newspaper or checking the books. It’s a very normal place for normal people who need a stay in Palayam.
