Agro Bird Enterprise

Our place is at No:60A on Bharathi Road. If you know Thelungupalayam, you know it gets pretty busy around here during the day. Agro Bird Enterprise has been operating from this little spot for a bit. It’s mostly just us handling whatever comes through the door. We deal with stuff related to farms and keeping birds where they’re supposed to be, or sometimes keeping them away from where they shouldn't be. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bags and rolls around. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or bits of netting. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people who have problems with their crops or their sheds. You learn a lot about how people try to manage their land just by listening to them. We aren’t a big corporation with fancy desks. My desk is usually buried under invoices and half-empty tea cups. The morning starts with checking what needs to go out and making sure the bikes are loaded up. Bharathi Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve just become part of it over the years. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the weather or the news, but other days we can barely keep up with the people coming in. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just stay here and do the work that needs doing every single day without much fuss.
